CEW Beauty Award attendees put the Lipstick On

RPG is proud to be an ongoing sponsor and the design team behind one of the most coveted beauty events of the year in NYC! On March 11, more than 2,200 beauty insiders lined up to attend the CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) Insiders’ Choice Beauty Awards Product Demonstration. The 3 hour frenzy is designed to have the press and members of CEW experiment and learn more about products in 37 categories including skin care, cosmetics, hair appliances, styling products and fragrance. Entrants are judged on innovation, delivery system and packaging.

Attendees have the chance to experience the entry products during the Demo and then at home when they leave with a gift bag valued at $2,000+, before casting their vote for the most innovative products of the year. Winners are revealed at the annual Luncheon on May 15th at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC.

This year RPG designed and built a unique booth containing a fun and interactive experience. Using chocolate covered pretzels and cash prizes packaged in plastic capped tubing, a pair of lips was depicted against the wall in black and white.

As CEW members picked a number and removed a tube, they were rewarded with a treat and slowly put on the “lipstick” by revealing and lighting a true pair of bright red lips. The booth also featured a lounging area for members to sit back, relax, and snack while they enjoyed the RPG environment.

The evening was a great success filled with all the best of product and professionals in the beauty industry.
